Brand Redesign and Extension, App Design, and AI/AR Technology Design

Working with marketing, technology design, and graphic design students and P&G representatives, we were given the opportunity to do research into Olay’s marketing with first hand sources. From this we found a need for a younger audience and a more modern technological connection. During our research with the public and skincare users we discovered the lack in easy, reliable, and adaptable skincare education. Our insight into the consumer skincare journey and how, by uncovering the elements of the skincare journey, our solution merges the digital and physical realm for Olay. Our insight brought us to create EME by Olay, an app that uses AI/AR technology to scan products to review it’s information and how well it adapts to your specific skin type. It also tracks changes in your skin through a personalized calendar, face scanner and skincare questionaire.
